Documentos.me · El Salvador
We are a private document-retrieval company. We are NOT the government of El Salvador and have no ties to any public institution. We do not fill out other countries' forms or give immigration advice. Every document can be requested directly from the State for the official fee we display; what you pay us for is end-to-end handling, review and our guarantee.

Privacy Policy

Complete courtesy translation; the Spanish version governs in case of discrepancy.

This policy reads in five minutes. Our clients entrust us with identity documents; we treat that as the most serious part of the business.

What we collect

Only what your order needs: name, contact details (email and WhatsApp), the requested document's data (municipality, dates, DUI number when required), shipping address if applicable, and any files you send us.

Our five promises

  1. We never ask about your immigration status. We don't need it for any process.
  2. We never ask for your passwords for Digital Identity, simple.sv, banking or any system.
  3. We never sell or share your data with third parties for advertising. Ever.
  4. We never use your information for anything other than your order and communications about it.
  5. We do not hand data to foreign authorities. We only respond to orders from a competent Salvadoran authority, reviewed by a lawyer.

How long we keep data

How we protect

Encryption in transit, restricted access with a log of every file access, encrypted backups, and your tracking page shows your name partially masked in case you share the link.

Your rights

You can ask to view, correct or delete your data by writing to hola@documentos.me. We respond within 5 business days. Early deletion of documents in an ongoing order means cancelling it (the Terms' refund policy applies).

Transfers

Our servers may be outside El Salvador; we choose providers with encryption and data-processing agreements. Couriers receive only the recipient's name and delivery address.
